Thailand | Heading North
Thursday, March 26, 2015

I went on a three-day excursion with my aunt, uncle, great-aunt (?), and mom. We headed out from the city bright and early. Stopping for gas, restroom breaks, food along the way until we got to our first destination at Tak.

Camped out for the night.

Woke up around 6, and walked around the park for a bit.

Watched the sun rise.

Left the camp site. First stop: Bhumibol Dam.

Heading up to the highest point in Thailand. It was like being in Temple Run.

Some what anti-climatic.

Random waterfall we came across.

Next morning! Got some coffee and breakfast. This place was really remote, and I guess all of the proceed goes to the orphanage.

Everything be on point t h o.

You can walk down to the river.

Finally in Mae Hong Son. To get here, we had to go through HELL. Hours and hours going up and down winding roads, long mountain ranges. Good lord.

From a temple up on a hill top.

Went up to the Long Neck Tribe. It was pretty deep in the jungle. Passed by so many elephants.

Woman of the long neck tribe. There was a musician there that played Kayan music with her guitar. I bought her EP and took a picture with her lol. She put the rings around my neck, and it didn't hurt at all! Definitely not posting that pic tho.

At the fish caves near Pai.

Got to Pai late at night. That town was packed with tourists. We slept at this resort that was Hello Kitty themed. The entire place was pink and white.

Next morning, heading back home. Stopped at a hot spring. Here, people can boil eggs.

-End of Thailand posts-
Wish I took more pictures of the places I went to, but sometimes I felt ridiculous hauling out my DSRL. :|
