Take a Hike: Eagle Rock

While watching an episode of Enlightened titled "The Weekend" with audio commentary, I was in awe of the location they shot at. Mike White (the creator/ writer) mentioned that they filmed that scene at "Topanga Kern". So naturally I took to Google, and found out that it's the next town over! We didn't find any river or body of water, since we took the wrong trail to "Eagle Rock". Oh well, next time.

I brought my camera because 1) I miss taking pictures. 2) I thought we were going to a location that over-looked the pacific ocean.








Going up! Only like 0.2 miles in, and I'm already about to quit. lawl

Finally reached Eagle Rock.










We found a cave.










There were ~inspirational~ writings all over the cave.
"What is this, Tumblr? Come on now."

My soul felt so relaxed here. Though I think it was just my heart rate going down.

Next time I'm bringing two bottles of water. And sunblock! Lots of sunblock.
We hiked a total of 6 miles. But we also went to In & Out afterwards, so I don't know what kind of health benefits are being gained and lost here. -__-
